Pursue black bears across an expansive 60,000-acre private ranch during a professionally guided, five-day hound hunt. The season runs from April 15 through May 25, offering hunters an exciting spring opportunity with exclusive access to productive bear country.

High Success and Quality Bears

Hunters can expect an impressive success rate of more than 80 percent. Approximately 75 percent of the bears in this area are color-phase bears, creating opportunities for cinnamon, chocolate, blonde, and other unique variations.

Each hunter receives one-on-one guiding, and groups of up to three hunters can be accommodated. Over-the-counter bear tags are available, making the licensing process convenient and straightforward.

Lodging, Meals, and Pricing

Comfortable cabin lodging and freshly prepared meals are included throughout the hunt. Airport pickup is also available from Grand Junction, Colorado.

The hunt is priced at $7,000 per hunter. Hunters booking as a group receive a $500 discount per person. A mountain lion may also be harvested in addition to a bear, when legally available, for a $1,500 kill fee.
