British Columbia Coastal Black Bear Hunt
This hunt takes place approximately 13 hours north of Vancouver or four hours west of Prince George. The lodge and cabins are located on Laidman Lake, offering excellent trout fishing and a comfortable base for your adventure. Being only about 100 miles from the BC coast, the bears in this region are comparable in quality to those found on Vancouver Island.
Hunting Methods
Hunting is conducted by glassing along old logging roads, burns, and open areas, followed by spot-and-stalk approaches. This region has a healthy bear population, and hunters can expect to see half a dozen or more bears each day. The combination of terrain and bear density makes for an exciting and productive hunt.
