Trophy Whitetail Country in the Rolling Plains
Hunters here chase free-range, low-fence whitetail across more than 100,000 acres spread through Knox, Haskell, Kent, Nolan, and Mitchell Counties, where Rolling Plains terrain meets the edge of Texas Hill Country. The ground itself does a lot of the work, with rugged canyons, winter wheat fields, mesquite thickets, creek bottoms, crop fields, and food plots giving deer everything they need to grow old and grow big.
What Hunters Can Expect to See
Bucks on these ranches typically score between 115 and 160-plus B&C, with a realistic trophy range of 120 to 140 and most mature deer carrying eight points or better on spreads of 15 to 20 inches. The genetics on this ground are capable of producing bucks well past 170, and the rut, which runs from mid-November through mid-December, is prime time to rattle up a shooter buck in the open flats and brush country.
A Season That Runs Long
The low-fence whitetail season here stretches from the first of October through the end of February, giving hunters a wide window to plan around. Every hunt includes the opportunity to take one buck, one doe, and one hog, so there’s plenty of incentive to fill the freezer alongside chasing antlers.
Guided, Outfitted, and Ready to Hunt
Every hunt is run by guides who know the ranch, the blind locations, and the deer herd firsthand, with lodging, meals, game care, and ranch transportation included from start to finish. The operation comfortably handles everything from solo hunters to large corporate groups and family trips, backed by a team built around decades of experience guiding Texas whitetail hunters to their buck of a lifetime.
