Hunt Overview
This hunt offers hunters an incredibly productive opportunity to pursue high-quality moose, black bear, or whitetail in the Athabaska region. These farmland moose are numerous, generally measuring between 30–45 inches, and occasionally growing even larger. Because residents have recently been placed on quota, trophy quality continues to improve each year. As a result, hunters can look forward to a rewarding and exciting experience.
This area of Alberta produces true Northwoods giant whitetail that can be an add on to a moose hunt if tags are available. Spring and fall black bear hunts are highly successful and a second bear can be harvested on a trophy fee.
This outfitter also has his own private heard of wood bison that can be an add on to any hunt. Bring home a giant trophy bull or a freezer filler meat bison in addition to your moose, deer, or bear. Bison hunts can usually be completed within the first day and can be picked up at the processor at the end of your hunt for transport home.
Personalized Small-Outfitter Experience
This small outfitter takes only a limited number of hunters annually, ensuring a highly personalized hunt. Hunters stay directly in the outfitter’s home in Athabaska, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Hunts are conducted using both 4×4 trucks and ATVs, allowing teams to cover more ground efficiently.
Exceptional Success Rates
Success rates for the Alberta – Farmland Moose Hunt are virtually 100%, making this an outstanding opportunity to put high-quality meat in the freezer. Furthermore, the farmland terrain allows hunters to glass, travel, and engage moose in a variety of productive settings. Because of this, the hunt is well-suited for those wanting consistent action and reliable results.
