Premier Newfoundland Moose Hunting Adventures
Exceptional Trophy Potential and Success Rates
Located in the heart of Newfoundland’s wild and rugged landscape, this remote hunting operation offers outstanding opportunities for trophy moose, woodland caribou, and black bear. With carefully managed hunting areas and healthy game populations, hunters consistently experience high shot opportunities and strong success rates. As a result, many bulls taken each season range from 30 to 45 inches (with the occasional 50), reflecting the quality of both habitat and management. Furthermore, remote access and limited pressure help sustain long-term trophy potential.
Experienced Guides and Proven Methods
Backed by generations of local knowledge and guiding experience, professional guides provide hunters with a well-rounded and highly effective approach. Over the years, proven techniques have been refined to match both terrain and individual hunter preferences. Consequently, each hunt is tailored for safety, efficiency, and maximum opportunity.
Spot-and-Stalk and Calling Strategies
Hunters primarily pursue moose using two time-tested methods. First, spot-and-stalk hunting allows for wide-area coverage by foot, boat, or ATV, using elevated vantage points to locate game and plan careful approaches. Meanwhile, during the rut, aggressive calling techniques create thrilling encounters as responding bulls move into range. Together, these methods offer flexibility and excitement throughout the season.
Comfortable Lodges and Remote Access
Hunters stay in well-appointed drive-in and remote-access lodges featuring comfortable sleeping quarters, full kitchens, bathrooms, wood stoves, and modern amenities. While drive-in lodges provide convenient vehicle access and expansive hunting ranges, remote lakeside lodges accessed by ATV and boat deliver true wilderness immersion. In addition, varied terrain—including mountains, bogs, and valleys—creates diverse hunting environments for multiple species.
Multi-Species Opportunities in Vast Terrain
With seemingly endless country to explore, hunters enjoy the freedom to pursue moose, woodland caribou, and black bear from a single base. Consequently, each trip delivers both variety and adventure in one of Canada’s premier big game destinations.
