Prime Time for Alberta Trophy Whitetails
November in Alberta is famous among sportsmen worldwide for its cold, snowy conditions as winter sets in and the northern country locks up tight. It is also considered the premier time to pursue a monster trophy whitetail.
Hunt Structure and Season Options
Hunts are six days, running Sunday to Sunday, with arrival and departure on Sundays. Archery hunts take place in late August, while rifle hunts occur during the November rut.
Stand Setups and Hunting Style
November rifle hunts are conducted from elevated or heated ground blinds along cut lines, cutovers, feeding areas, or travel corridors between feeding and bedding zones. Action can happen fast, so be ready for the shot.
Guiding and Daily Routine
After dropping you at your stand in the morning, your guide spends the day scouting and picks you up at dusk. Lodging is provided in warm, comfortable cabins.
