Premier Deer Hunting Adventures in Montana
Hunters and anglers seeking an authentic Western outdoor experience will find exceptional opportunities in northeastern Montana and northeastern Wyoming. These guided adventures focus on quality mule deer, whitetail deer, and pronghorn antelope hunting, along with unforgettable fly fishing trips on Montana’s legendary Missouri River. With abundant wildlife populations, experienced guides, and carefully managed hunting areas, guests enjoy a well-rounded outdoor experience in some of the most productive regions of the Northern Plains.
Montana Whitetail and Mule Deer Hunting
Located near Fairview in the northeastern corner of Montana, these hunts are designed to pursue mature-class mule deer and whitetail bucks across productive habitat with strong deer populations. Because the properties hold excellent cover and food sources, hunters frequently have opportunities at impressive bucks throughout the season.
Most whitetail hunts are conducted from ladder stands and well-positioned ground blinds, allowing hunters to observe natural deer movement patterns. Typical whitetail bucks harvested in the area range from 120–140 Boone & Crockett, with larger 150–160 class deer taken each season. Meanwhile, mule deer commonly measure 22–28 inches wide, offering exciting opportunities for Western trophy hunters.
The Montana season generally runs from late October through November, coinciding with the rut when mature bucks become more active.
Wyoming Antelope and Mule Deer Hunting
In addition to Montana hunts, guided adventures in Wyoming take place near Newcastle on the western edge of the Black Hills. This region provides excellent habitat for both pronghorn antelope and mule deer, making it one of the most productive hunting areas in the state.
Furthermore, the area offers numerous nearby attractions such as Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, and Devils Tower, providing great sightseeing opportunities for non-hunting guests traveling with the group.
Comfortable Lodging and Guided Service
Montana hunts include lodging, meals, and professional guide service, ensuring a comfortable and organized experience in the field. For added convenience, hunters flying into Williston, North Dakota can also be picked up at the airport free of charge.
With productive hunting areas, experienced guides, and a strong track record of success, these Montana and Wyoming adventures deliver a classic Western hunting experience.
