Experience free-range hunting across 1.5 million hectares of wild Mozambique wilderness, combining luxury safari camps with one of Africa’s most authentic and untouched hunting environments.
Vast Unfenced Wilderness

Operating since 2005, this established Mozambique safari operation provides access to more than 1,500,000 hectares of truly wild, unfenced hunting concessions. The landscape is remarkably diverse, ranging from thick riverine forests and expansive Miombo woodlands to open grasslands and seasonal floodplains. As a result, hunters experience a dynamic and authentic African environment that remains as natural and untamed as possible. There are no high fences, and no animals have been introduced—everything is free range and sustainably managed.

Luxury Camps in Remote Africa

In addition to exceptional hunting areas, clients enjoy comfortable accommodations across six well-appointed safari camps. Each camp hosts only four to six hunters at a time, ensuring personalized attention and an intimate wilderness experience. Most camps are within driving distance of one another, while select remote blocks in the Niassa region offer even deeper seclusion. Furthermore, guests stay in permanent chalets or luxury safari tents featuring ensuite bathrooms, hot and cold running water, reliable power systems, and high-speed satellite internet. Consequently, the experience blends remote adventure with modern comfort.

Prime Hunting Seasons and Conditions

Although the hunting season officially opens in April, optimal conditions typically begin in June. Mozambique’s rainy season occurs primarily in January and February, and because much of the terrain is relatively flat, the ground can remain wet for several weeks. Therefore, mid-season hunts often provide the best tracking conditions and access across the concessions. Hunters can plan their safari around specific species and seasonal movement patterns for maximum opportunity.

A True African Safari Adventure

With extensive free-range concessions, luxury camp accommodations, and carefully managed seasonal planning, this Mozambique safari offers one of the most authentic and rewarding hunting experiences available in Southern Africa.

The Ultimate Kudu Hunting Adventure Starts Here

For many hunters visiting Africa, the ultimate goal is to pursue the kudu—a large, graceful antelope prized as a trophy. Its most striking feature is its long, spiraled horns, and its elegant pale grey to brownish-grey coat, marked with distinctive white vertical stripes along the flanks, makes it one of the continent’s most beautiful antelope species.

Free-Range Hunting in South Africa Still Exists

Contrary to what you might read on the internet, there are a few outfitters and hunting operations in South Africa that provide world-class hunting experiences without the use of high game fencing.

Wild, Wonderful, Hwange
