4-Day SAAM Precision Intense ($5,450 ea.)

This is the perfect course to test your equipment for that next big hunt. You will go through 40 hours of intense training in your weapon systems, fundamentals of marksmanship, shooting positions, shot placement, on-the-fly decision-making, longer range with wind-calling practice, and high-pressure drill conditioning. We utilize classroom, range, and drive-around courses. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, you will maximize your skills and become a better shooter and hunter by understanding your level of competency. Students can expect to shoot 240 rounds.

2-Day SAAM Precision Prep ($3,950 ea.)

This abbreviated course is designed for SAAM graduates who want a tune-up to sharpen those perishable skills before that next big hunt or for those with limited time. It offers 20 hours of intense training in shooting basics such as focusing on your weapon systems, ballistics, fundamentals of marksmanship, shooting positions, and shot placement; with longer range and wind calling practice, and high-pressure drill conditioning. This course utilizes classroom, range, and drive around courses. Students can expect to shoot 160 rounds.

4-Day SAAM Precision Advanced ($5,450 ea.)

This intense course is designed for previous graduates of our SAAM 4-Day Precision or Safari courses who would like to elevate their shooting skills using advanced skills to go to the next level. We will utilize kestrels to assist in both ballistic knowledge and wind-calling training. We summarize basics quickly and verify range cards with your rifles, with the remainder of the course focusing on movers, intense wind calling, target acquisition training, advanced positional training, and other skill development drills. We will stretch out the distance shot in a normal precision course to enhance your skill set. This includes the popular “hair in the scope” drill and using smoke indicators for wind-call training. You can purchase a kestrel here at the ranch or bring your own. We recommend a 5700 Elite or newer model with applied ballistics or 4DOF. Students can expect to shoot 240+ rounds of ammunition.

4-Day SAAM Safari ($5,450 ea.)

This course is designed for the entire spectrum of safari life—from dangerous game to plains game including the many jungle species. Along with classroom time, this course utilizes many different ranges including dangerous game chargers and moving targets and offers 40 hours of Safari-specific training. The first two days are dedicated to Precision training. The 3rd and 4th days focus on larger calibers and dangerous game. You will train on life-sized moving targets necessary to simulate the unique stresses of hunting in Africa or any dangerous game worldwide. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned Safari hunter, your PH and guides will appreciate your investment in this training. Please bring a medium-caliber rifle, the large-bore rifles you intend to use on your hunts, and 260 rounds total for both guns. (*see below for important info)

This busy, abbreviated Safari course is designed for SAAM Safari graduates to stay tuned up before each big hunt or those with limited time and offers 20 hours of intense training. Most of the first day is dedicated to Precision training The second will big-bore training geared towards dangerous game. You will train on life-sized moving targets necessary to simulate the unique stresses of hunting dangerous game. Along with classroom time, this course also utilizes different ranges and a dangerous game course with moving targets. Whether you’re a novice or seasoned Safari hunter, your PH and guides will appreciate your investment in this training. Please bring your medium caliber rifle, the large bore gun you intend to use on your hunt, and 160 rounds total for both guns.

4-Day SAAM Field First Aid ($5,950 ea.)

What would happen if someone got hurt on a hunt or trip? Prepare for such an event in this field emergency medical training course taught in the SAAM Precision formats. On top of the regular SAAM curriculum, you will get 8 – 10 hours of emergency field medical training from corpsmen who have many years of real-world experience. You will also receive medical supplies that cover basic lifesaving needs for a field emergency until health and safety professionals can intervene. From your backyard to the most remote locations—staying calm and collected is key.

4-Day SAAM Hunt Package ($2,400 ea.)

This package includes five nights of lodging and four full days of hunting, 2-on-1 in our rugged FTW mountains, it is REAL hunting! Also includes: guiding (2X1), delicious meals, and beverages. Youth hunters (20 and under) are charged 50% of the adult price and observers are $250 per day per person. You can hunt from blinds, safari-style, or on foot, spot and stalk depending on weather, animal movements, and hunter preferences. We recommend rifle calibers between .243 and .300. Package extras are trophy fees (note: wounded is considered harvested), gratuities, taxidermy, shipping/freight, airfare, and transportation to and from the FTW Ranch.
