Based in the Remote Wilderness of Northern Saskatchewan, this hunt is truly a wilderness Moose hunt. Utilizing boat, canoe and ATVS, this Saskatchewan Moose hunt is conducted in the rut (first 2 weeks of October), and provide a full wilderness moose hunting experience with your guide calling the big bulls out to you. This outfitter’s base camp is an old school trappers camp, 10 miles past the end of the road. You will get there by way of 4WD, ATV and/or boat. Camp is along a small river that is very tough to access. This outfitter have a second camp a further 10 mile downstream, and also use tent camps, as required. Strategically located rapids both upstream and downstream of our hunting area keep virtually all hunters out of our area. Many of this outfitter’s hunts are done on the river, with small boats and/or canoes – others are done further afield with trucks and ATVs. While there are lots of Moose Hunting Outfitters, this outfitter is one of the few that specialize in providing the top quality Canadian Moose hunting opportunities at reasonable prices. Their Saskatchewan moose territory is unique in that it is NOT a fly-in camp, you get there over land and water – but the hunting pressure is highly restricted by a draw system for resident hunters. The two most important factors in any moose hunt are: 1. The numbers and age structure of the moose population (largely determined by hunting pressure), and 2. the quality and experience of your guide.
