This outfitter offers exceptional elk hunts with high success rates in the scenic Purcell Wilderness area near Kootenay Lake. With over 37 years of experience in the guiding business, their family is dedicated to providing a memorable hunting adventure. During the peak of the rut, they employ a variety of hunting techniques, focusing mainly on bugling. Depending on the terrain, we use horses, trucks, quads, and side-by-sides to access remote logging cuts and backcountry areas. Your hunt will either be based out of their comfortable home lodge or at a rustic spike camp deep in the wilderness. These spike camp cabins are solidly built with stick frames, heated by wood stoves, and lit by propane lights, offering accommodations for two hunters and two guides. Their mission is to ensure a safe, exhilarating adventure with the utmost emphasis on fair chase principles.
