Located in Lac La Biche, Alberta, approximately two and a half hours north of Edmonton, this area is renowned as one of the premier zones for harvesting big Northern deer. The unique combination of farmland, swamps, dense bush, and timber provides the ideal habitat to consistently produce mature bucks. Hunting takes place throughout November, offering high deer populations that allow for selectivity and an excellent chance to pursue your dream Whitetail. The hunting method depends on deer activity and location, utilizing 4x4 trucks, ATVs, and, when necessary, some walking for access. The most effective approach is hunting from strategically placed stands. These include tower stands, tree stands, and ground blinds positioned on fields, cut lines, or in the timber and bush country near scrapes and natural travel routes. In suitable conditions, spot-and-stalk hunting can also yield great results. To ensure comfort during colder days, the outfitter provides heaters as needed, making your hunting experience both productive and enjoyable.
