Texas Panhandle Whitetail Country
McLean, Texas sits in the heart of the Panhandle, and the country around it has been quietly producing quality whitetail deer for generations. This operation runs across 11,000 acres of private land — enough room to spread hunters out, manage pressure, and keep the deer behaving naturally. Whether you’re after a mature buck or just want to fill the freezer, the ground has the deer to make it happen.
Guides Who Know the Country
The guiding crew brings nearly 50 years of combined experience to the table, and that kind of time in one area shows. They know where the deer move, where they bed, and how the wind plays through the draws and flats of the Panhandle. Hunts are tailored to each hunter’s goals — whether that’s a wall-hanger or a pile of venison — and the guides put in the work to make it happen.
Rifle and Archery Options
Rifle hunters can book a 3.5-day, 3-night hunt running November 1 through December 17, priced at $4,000 for one buck and one doe with meals and lodging included. Archery hunters have their own window from October 12 through October 30, with a 3-day, 3-night package at $3,750. Both packages give hunters a legitimate shot at Texas Panhandle bucks during the heart of the season.
Camp Life Done Right
The experience doesn’t stop when you come in off the field. Meals are southern home-cooked and built to fuel a full day of hunting. The camp has a family feel to it — the kind of place where you show up as a client and leave feeling like you’ve known these people for years.
